When The Bartolotta Restaurant team took over the 1030 N. Water Street restaurant space last spring, a vision was created stemming from a charismatic late 50’s and early 60’s hot spot. Vinyl records played lively music of the day, locals enjoyed camaraderie and of course, beer and spirits were flowing. These are just a few of the great qualities Joe Bartolotta appreciated about the bar owned by his Father called Rumpus Room. Paying tribute to the man who continues to have a significant influence on the The Bartolotta Restaurants’ family, Joe and the team look forward to the opening of the company’s newest venue, The Rumpus Room – a casual, European-inspired gastropub.
